Time For Ex-Danfo Driver, Star Ekitigate And Lunatic Governor Ayodele Fayose To Stand Trial

By Bayo Oluwasanmi

Election rigging has been an accepted practice in the voting process in Nigeria and does not change the status of the winner unless they can be seen as proven guilty in courts of law. Usually, a lengthy process that allows the rigger to legitimize the vote result as long as they hold the office.
Many of the tools of rigging are easily used by groups in power during the election period to influence vote outcome. Of course, rigging can be used by groups out of power too. But the opportunities and resources to rig or manipulate are much greater for those in power which can control paramilitary, military, legal, and bureaucratic resources including the infrastructure of election process itself. It's been proven that using as many techniques as possible increases chances of a successful rigging of a vote and even manipulating election results.
The tilting of the electoral playing field in Ekiti State that brought Mr. Ayodele Fayose, the ex-danfo driver, the star of Ekitigate, and the lunatic Governor of Ekiti State to power was the result of a sophisticated  election rigging coordinated by President Goodluck Jonathan and other big wigs of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
While Ekiti State was getting ready for the elections, Fayose and his PDP gang were setting the stage for the chaos that has consumed Ekiti State. Fayose and his cohorts in a windowless office worked their mischief. Those present in the room were: Governor Ayo Fayose, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Minister of Police Affairs Jelili Adesiyan, Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, ex-Minister of State for Defense, Captain Sagir Koli, and Honorable AbdulKareem, National Assembly.
During the meting, strategies and plans were tactically mapped out. Voters would be intimidated. Electoral fraud would be perfected. Here is the detailed rigging plan as reported by Premium Times:
(1) The use of the Nigerian military by the PDP to assist in electoral manipulation. (2) The creation of a list of APC members to arrest. (3) The use of stickers to be used to identify persons not to be harassed and detained by the army. (4) Deployment of “Special Team” including a “Special Force.” (5) The Minister of State for Defense bribing military personnel with the offer of promotion if he carries out the “strategy.” (6) A gubernatorial candidate admitting to electoral fraud by copying material provided by the INEC. (7) The reprimanding of military personnel for mistakenly detaining PDP members engaged in electoral fraud. (8) The minister explicitly states he was instructed by the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria to execute this plan. (9) The candidate Fayose explicitly state he was given assurances by the Chief of Army Staff to execute this plan.
The excited and intoxicated PDP hatchet men made no effort to conceal their machinations. The indisputable evidence – the Ekitigate video – is a testament to the saying that “what people uncover, God will cover, what people cover, God will uncover.” Hear Fayose as recorded in the video by Koli in the electoral fraud war room: “We agreed in Abuja on the modalities to work, we agreed on a sticker, that any vehicle you see that sticker, you allow the sticker. That sticker is on those vehicles, his own was sent to him, mine was sent to me to give to them. There is no vehicle that left this place without that sticker.”
“Today, they went to “efon” they carry all the …,” continues Fayose, “When we are supposing to be collating the thing INEC gave to us, soft copies we now printed and everything, because they see INEC thing on top of it...” “Chief of Army Staff called me,” Fayose continues, “he told me, you are in safe hands, he (Gen. Momoh) would perform and if you have any issues, call me. He told me that I have made it clear to him that I am Jonathan for this election. We have to call the president and let him know. This people are doing somethings they would not even serve police that wants to help us, we can't continue like this. (general cuts in “are you working with a different police?”).
Fayose has waged an unrelenting campaign to exploit every weakness and anachronism in our judicial system. In his attempt to escape being impeached, Fayose assembled Okada (bike) riders and members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to cause mayhem and pandemonium in the state. He embarked on barricading roads leading to the state capital, Ado-Ekiti with buses, logs of woods, and bonfires. He chased out the 19 All Progressives Congress (APC) legislators out of state and locked the State House of Assembly thereby precluded the APC legislators from doing their job. Fayose slapped Justice John Adeyeye of High Court 3 in Ado-Ekiti, and ordered his thugs to beat the judge up. Twenty thugs pounced on Justice Adeyeye, beat him up and tore his clothes.
The PDP led by Mr. Jonathan used powers and resources of the presidency to inject rigging and instill fear in Ekiti people and through the ranks of Ekiti State bureaucracy. With soldiers and police in place, and their coffers filling up, the PDP systematically disenfranchised Ekiti voters.
APC members were subject to intimidation, arrest, and other forms of persecution throughout the election process in the state. APC offices were raided. Many prominent APC party leaders, civil society leaders and human rights defenders were arrested on spurious charges.
The Ekitigate video has added irrefutable, hard evidence of fraud. In addition, through voter suppression and legislative tricks, PDP and Fayose managed to rig the Ekiti State elections.
Fayose, a politician with almost zero national profile has now declared himself unofficial spokesman of the PDP. Stinging from the loss of the Presidency, Fayose is more than eager to lead the PDP scalawags into a new confrontation with President Muhammadu Buhari. Fayose has drawn a dangerous lesson from the previous Ekitigate: Brinkmanship works.
Of all the PDP disabled remnants, Fayose is the most sadistic, confrontational, antagonistic, and hell-bent on attacking the person and administration of President Buhari with senseless and baseless false accusations. Fayose's strategy is clear: he's using psychological war fare to intimidate and preempt Buhari's administration from legally pursuing him for his star role in Ekitigate. But, it won't fly.
His madness has also ratcheted up the danger of catastrophic vomit from his diarrhea mouth. “President Buhari seized late Chief Obafemi Awolowo's international passport,” claims Fayose, “and prevented him from traveling abroad for medicare in 1985, thereby leading to his (Awolowo) untimely death in 1987.”
More than a year ago after he stole his reelection after being impeached, it is safe to say that Fayose has gotten away with the crime. Fayose got to power and remained in power by pursuing a campaign of  violence and vengeance against his political opponents.
A tiny yeast affects an entire loaf of bread. In the same way, a little sin can spread and ruin a person. Fayose, little by little is being destroyed by his stubborn pride. The life of Fayose illustrates the ancient truth in the Book of Proverbs: “Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls.”  Fayose celebrates frolics and nonsensical babbling. His foolishness and heretical behavior makes people laugh.
Fayose is a riddle wrapped up in mystery inside an enigma. It has well been said that “the greatest ability is dependability.” Fayose is unpredictable and undependable because he's double-minded, and a “double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Fayose looks bold in physique but weak in morals. Empowered by his position, but yields his body to the appetites of the flesh. He claimed he was called to serve Ekiti people, but turned number one enemy of his own people. He fights the people everyday. He offers scavenger animals as dinner for Ekiti people, and his  leprous attitude is a blemish on the state known as the land of honor and the fountain of knowledge. He disobeys the laws of the state and of the land with impunity. He disobeys the moral tenets and thrives in filthy lies. He ends up in darkness blinded by pride, greed, and hypocrisy.
He has lost control of his tongue. He constructed lies and riddles out of the experience of his sins. He doesn't take seriously the fact that he has violated the cardinal laws of nature. It's bad enough to disobey the natural laws, but when he makes a joke out of it, he sinks to new depths of spiritual madness.
It is reassuring that President Buhari has set up a military inquiry into the Ekitigate election scam. The inquiry will be incomplete without the prosecution of the civilians involved viz: Fayose, Obanikoro, Omisore, and. Adesiyan. They must all be brought to justice without further delay.
Laws and restrictions bring out the absolute worst in people. Rules are meant to be obeyed. Fayose broke all the rules and all the protocols. His thuggery and hooliganism know no bounds. He's rough, uncouth, uncivilized, barbaric, indecent, uncultured, loquacious, morally filthy, unrepentant, and inhuman. It's time for Fayose to offer Guilt offering. Guilt offering is required for sins for which restitution of some kind needed to be made. Fayose must stand trial.
For now, Fayose is holding back the tide. But sooner than later, he's going to get swamped.

SERAP? Shut Up!

By Issachar Odion

I am often amazed at the proclivity of some idle persons for claims that are not only exaggerated but also completely baseless. These ambitious individuals are usually used by paymasters to spin all sorts of specious tales whilst hiding behind the mask of non-governmental organisation, civil society or pressure group of various nomenclatures. Their ostensible motivation is public interest, but their real goal is to get back at perceived enemies of their sponsors and, perhaps, gain some popularity for themselves in the process. One group that appears to have mastered this art is so-called Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP).

An examination of the group’s activities, compared to its stated objectives, shows that SERAP is little more than a terribly misguided set of noisemakers. While the group is touted as a non-profit organisation established “to promote transparency and accountability in the public and private sectors through human rights”, recent developments have shown that the organisation is nothing but a bunch of attention-seeking opportunists. In fact, one doubts if it is really an organisation and not a “one-man battalion” with the unseemly prominence of one Adetokunbo Mumuni who is believed to be the body’s Executive Director.

Anyone who has been following this SERAP’s press releases and “media noise” would easily understand what I am talking about. The latest in the series of uncouth debates generated by the group is its false alarm about the recovered Abacha loot. In a statement made available to the public on November 29, 2015, SERAP alleged mismanagement of the recovered funds and called on President Muhammadu Buhari to probe ex-minister of finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. How do you call for the probe of someone who facilitated the recovery of the loot and ensured its judicious disbursement?

Alluding to records purportedly obtained from the World Bank, Mumuni in SERAP says it is “closely studying and scrutinising with a view to discovering whether the documents contain details that Nigerians would like to see and whether the information correspond to the facts on the ground.” In the same breath, however, he calls for the probe of the former minister of finance. Isn’t it instructive that that the ramshackle of a group has proceeded to pass judgement while acknowledging that it had not done due diligence to conclude its scrutiny and investigations?

Contrary to SERAP’s claims that the disbursement of the fund was not monitored, the World Bank indeed monitored how the money was spent, together with a group of Nigerian and Swiss NGOs. Beyond monitoring, they issued a report which is well documented at the World Bank. The gist of the entire process has been in the public domain for about a decade. Apparently, the bank has furnished SERAP with the relevant documents in this regard, and the latter is attempting to twist the information to defame Dr Okonjo-Iweala and sully her reputation.

The World Bank specifically stated in one of its reports that the monitoring and analysis of repatriated fund utilisation was undertaken both at the macro level and at the micro level. While the macro level involved analysis of general budget expenditure trends, the micro level deployed a field survey of randomly selected projects funded under the program. In its December 2006 report, a 58-page document [http://siteresources.worldbank.org/INTNIGERIA/Resources/Abacha_Funds_Monitoring_1221.pdf], the World Bank clearly affirms that in spite of expected difficulties recorded in the joint monitoring exercise – being the first of its kind – the process was largely successful. It earned a seal of approval from the government and civil society, both of whom acknowledged that they have found the exercise valuable.

Now, where was SERAP when these reports were published and jointly attested to by international observers, government representatives, and reputable Civil Society Organisations? The monitoring exercise involved bodies like the Nigeria Society of Engineers, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Action Aid International, Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, among others. It is laughable that an organisation which claimed to have been in existence since 2004 has only just woken up in 2015 to raise issues where none exists. How daft and desperate can people be? Well, the good news is that SERAP and its sponsors are about to be revealed for who they really are. So Nigerians will not be deceived anymore by their antics.

It will be recalled that this same Mumuni in SERAP was used to call for the revocation of Okonjo-Iweala’s appointment on the board of GAVI, owned by Bill and Melinda Gates, for spurious claims that the former minister favoured GAVI while in office. The silliness of SERAP is made glaring when one considers that the money in question was not Nigeria’s money in the first place. It was GAVI’s donation to Nigeria for the immunisation of Nigerian children, for which GAVI later discovered inappropriate use of $2.2million of the funds and therefore called for a refund of that amount. An official release of GAVI’s finding was published on its site several months ago to set the record straight on this transaction [http://www.gavi.org/Library/News/Statements/2015/Reimbursement-of-misused-amounts-identified-in-Gavi-Cash-Programme-Audit-in-Nigeria/]. Little wonder that despite the sponsored hullabaloo made by SERAP and it’s media cronies, GAVI did not even accord their noise a glancing attention.

I think it’s high time Mumuni, his hurting sponsors and SERAP shut up or go get another prey. That Okonjo-Iweala woman is too smart and too formidable a target for their puerile and uncoordinated stratagem. And the Nigerian people are a better informed audience than Mumu gives them credit for.

Tambuwal: Minimum Wage A Constitutional Matter

The issue of minimum wage is a constitutional matter which no state government can decide on it's implementation or otherwise, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has said.

He said so far, the Nigeria Governors Forum has not taken any collective decision on the issue of minimum wage.

A statement issued by Tambuwal's spokesman, Malam Imam Imam, said the Governor spoke when he granted audience to the National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Comrade Ayuba Waba.

"State have only minimal say on the issue of minimum wage because it is a constitutional matter. Any change desired for the present wage will have to come through a constitutional amendment to be performed by the National Assembly.

"We must correct the impression that Governors are against workers. That is not the case. We are partners in progress and our roles are complimentary of each other.

"In Sokoto specifically, we are evolving various policies to better the lots of our workers and improve on their productivity. They are important allies and we hold them in high esteem," Tambuwal stated.

Earlier in his remarks, Waba commended Tambuwal for the leading role he played in championing labour issues especially when he was the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

RIVERS BLACK DAY: Take Up Deeper Interest In The War Against Political Violence - Dr. Dakuku Peterside

SPEECH BY DR. DAKUKU PETERSIDE APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE ON RIVERS BLACK DAY

Protocol

I would like to thank all who took pains to attend this programme. Some of you are here as active participants. For that I say may God reward you for your thoughtfulness and commitment to the general cause of political reorientation towards peace and right of choice.  Some of you are here as critical observers. We hope your experiences might be extrapolated for the greater good of deepening democratic ideals. For the passive observers who are here out of curiosity, we hope that you will end up taking up deeper interest in the war against political violence.

We are gathered here for a purpose that is paradoxical. We are simultaneously mourning and celebrating our brothers and sisters whose lives were cut short by the inexplicable violence that characterized the general elections in Rivers State in March and April this year.  It is violence that has continued till today, merely mutating and transforming – from attacks before and during the general elections, now we suffer kidnappings, armed robberies, and assassinations by persons who are yet to be dispossessed of the guns with which they were “empowered”.

Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters and friends were attacked and killed in their homes in cold blood because of their political leanings. Some were attacked and killed while they were on their way to attend campaign rallies. Our campaign venues were victims of explosive devices and outright attacks by gun men. These were intimations of more unpleasant scenarios.

On election days ordinary citizens who wished to cast their votes as enshrined in the Statutes of our land were killed or maimed by trigger-happy and dagger wielding political thugs and mercenaries. In some cases, at polling units, elderly persons were beaten until their hearts literally stopped beating. Our brothers and sisters died because some politicians who were consumed with vaulting and inordinate ambition engaged in horse trading. More than 100 innocent persons were killed, victims of the evil acts of desperate politicians. You have heard chilling stories from their families, but for the sensitivity of our sensibilities, I wish not to recant that narratives here. Unfortunately, till date not a single person has been prosecuted for these crimes against humanity.

Brothers and sisters, we are here to commemorate the memories of these victims of political violence. For us, they were not just victims but martyrs. They constitute the “strong breed” who have taken our collective burden to ensure the survival of democracy particularly in Rivers State and Nigeria in general.

It would be callous of us not to remember and celebrate their sacrificial but untimely deaths. This commemoration is the more necessary because law enforcement Agencies have not provided any form of succour to the families and friends of these victims by bringing to book the perpetrators of the heinous crimes. We will therefore not shirk our moral obligation to continue to advocate for justice for these our fallen brethren. That is the whole essence of Rivers Black Day. To mourn and celebrate these martyrs of democracy; as well as cry out to God to show mercy on us as a people whose land has been polluted by the blood of innocent persons.

Recall that we humans learn by relating previous experiences with current ones. Thus, what is the lesson from the tragedy of more than 100 human beings murdered as a result of immoderate political ambition? It raises questions about the character of those who want to lead us and the orientation of our political class. In accordance with the propositions of ancient Philosophers, that politics should be reserved for those with the character and experience required to make policy; I urge us therefore, that in all our dealings to always appreciate the sanctity of human life, and fashion out ways on how to direct the less enlightened in civic and civil conducts.

We have recognized that at all times and in all situations we are “Greater Together”. Hence, today together we stand to say NO to any form of political intimidation and violence in our land. Brothers and sisters, welcome to Rivers Black Day, a day dedicated to the memories of more than 100 persons who were killed. May their gentle souls rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord. Amen.

Rivers Black Monday....PDP Plots To Stop APC Supporters

While leaders and members of the Rivers State APC troop out in their numbers this early morning to commence the procession aimed at commemorating the slain heroes of Change during the last general elections in the state, it is clear that the ruling party in the state, PDP under Chief Nyesom Wike have concluded plans to botch the much publicised event scheduled to take place in Port Harcourt today.

Security reports filtered in this morning confirmed that in some of the Riverine areas, the Caretaker Chairmen have ordered commercial bus drivers in their domain to desist from conveying APC supporters to Port Harcourt for the program. In Akuku Toru, one Rowland Sekibo, the Caretaker Chairman and an avowed hitman of the former Minister of Sports, Tammy Danagogo, this morning, led over 100 youths to stop APC supporters from using the buses hired to convey them to the State capital. He was alleged to have also provided logistics for the PDP youths to ensure that their aim of scuttling the program is achieved.
It was the same Rowland who led the violence that characterised the last elections in Akuku Toru LGA under the orders and watchful eyes of the former Minister.

In Asari Toru, the story is not different as  the controversial Caretaker Chairman, Sobomabo Jackrice alias Egberi Papa, an ex militant leader, also order APC members to disembark from the hired buses while threatening the bus drivers of losing their right to use the motor parks in the area.
It is definitely a period of renewed militancy and violence IN Rivers State with the return of these blood thirsty men in power under Nyesom Wike.

Though the security agencies are battling to forestall a breakdown of law and order, it is not certain that all the DPOs are working in tandem with the orders of the Security Chiefs who endorsed the APC event. Recall that some of the DPOs and other officers were willing tools in the hands of the PDP led Federal Government when Wike desperately tried to sack former Governor Amaechi as the Chief Security Officer of the State.

The APC has vowed to go on with the program as a mark of honor for those who lost their lives while trying to exercise their constitutional rights to belong to any party of their choice. Over 100 persons including Police officers were brutally killed during the electioneering period.

Though the Security agencies are organs of the APC federal government, it is clear now in Rivers State that while the law belongs to them(APC), the guns definitely belong to the PDP in the state. Which is superior? The public is watching. Will members of Rivers APC be murdered again? How long will it take for justice to come the way of those whose only sin was that they chose to support President Buhari over former President Jonathan? The entire world is waiting!

The SGF And The Lying Wailers

By Lauretta Onochie

They have wailed about President Buhari's work in renovating the dilapidated nation he inherited from PDP's Dr. Goodluck Jonathan. We all know why. They no longer have unfettered access to the nation's resources which they freely appropriated to themselves in the past. But because Nigerians are delighted with the work the president is doing, their wailing fell on deaf ears.

They have wailed at just about anything, even about Pres. Buhari's  necessary and important foreign trips that have been instrumental to the  improvement of Nigeria's  image and  relations with the civilised world. How can anyone moan about positive strides of a leader aimed at strategically repositioning his nation and people on the global map of relevance?

As no one took them seriously, the PDP has turned their attention on the Secretary to the Government of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria SGF, Engr. Babachir David Lawal, knitting a web of unfounded mischievous allegations around him.

Their allegations are that Pres. Buhari promised to pay the fees of Nigerian students in the Amnesty Programme who where abandoned by their own PDP son and brother of Niger Delta extraction, Pres. Jonathan. But that's where the truth ends and the fabrications began. They further alleged that the SGF has instructed the Special Adviser to the President on Amnesty Programme, Brigadier-General Paul Boroh (rtd) to release the sum of N2b from the Amnesty Programme accounts to support Chief Timipre Sylva’s election. Haba!

While it's true that President Buhari has promised to pay the fees for these students who are studying overseas and who were abandoned and neglected through lack of funds under Pres. Jonathan, there is no iota of truth that such funds are being diverted to fund APC's Chief Timipre Sylva's gubernatorial election bid, just one week before the election. That the SGF and Timipre Sylva have a long standing  friendship does not give anyone the impetus or authority to fabricate libellous lies against the person of the SGF. Again, serving in government does not translate into severing links with long standing friends. This is a ploy to force the SGF to severe relationships he has cultivated over the years and this is a cruel reminder of how PDP abandoned Nigerians subjecting them to the most horrific era of neglect in her history.

Also last month someone took out a paid advert in a newspaper falsely claiming the SGF ordered NDDC management to release N500,000,000 to Chief Timipre Sylva for his campaign failing which, the person claimed, the SGF will sack the management of NDDC! Come on now! It's common knowledge that the SGF is the chairman of a committee set up by the President to reconstitute the Boards of Parastatals and Agencies. Those at NDDC are not immune to the up-coming restructuring. This is another ploy to arm-twist the SGF into maintaining the status quo at the NDDC, a known ATM of the PDP.

Nigerians are aware that constituted boards of government establishments played a great deal of role in running aground our nation, through sharp practices that enriched only the leadership of PDP and helped in entrenching poverty across the nation particularly in the Niger Delta. It's therefore a relief for Nigerians that those who delivered mediocre services will soon be replaced by change proponents who understand the vision of, and can key into the zero tolerance stance on corruption by President Muhammadu Buhari. Consequently, we expect the SGF and his committee to bravely take the bull by the horn and sanitise the Boards of Parastatals and Agencies, including the NDDC. We implore the committee not to succumb to this cheap blackmail.

This scathing attacks on the Presidents men is clearly passing through the back door to cast aspersions on the anti-corruption war of Pres. Muhammadu Buhari's administration. It is unacceptable! The PDP has been trying every known illegitimate trick in the book to smear the good image of the Federal government of Nigeria, to no avail. As it has not worked with the president, the ploy is to attack the Presidents principal officers.

The President, has taken time to put together a team of credible Nigerians, including the duo of the SGF, Engr. Babachir David Lawal and General Paul Boroh. The SGF is being maliciously attacked  because of the rot he is unearthing at his office, formerly presided over by a PDP chieftain, the Chief Anyim Pius Anyim. They also know how the office of the SGF was used to bleed our nation under Pres. Jonathan. They do not reckon that it's now different under Pres. Buhari.

This PDP habit of heaping unsubstantiated lies on those at the forefront of fighting the decay in our nation, is absurd to say the least and nauseating to put it succinctly. It's a game of, "If you won't cover for us, we would mount a false propaganda against you." This is nothing but pure blackmail! Nigerians will not stand for it because blackmail is a crime.

This is a new Nigeria. Nigerians are wiser and they know the truth as information is readily and easily available today. Nigerians would want the PDP that failed them to back off so the government of President Buhari can effectively do the job they couldn't do in 16 years. This wave of blackmail cannot hinder the work of recovering the stolen loot in the possession of those we entrusted with our nation's common wealth, over the last 16 years. Its sad that they are the same ones who are shamelessly, using funds stolen from poor Nigerians to cast non-sticking aspersions on those we have elected and appointed over them, to bring sanity back into our nation.

The SGF is a busy man trying to do a difficult job by serving Nigerians in the best way that profit can accrue to all Nigerians, particularly the 110 million Nigerians abandoned in the throes of abject poverty. He is supporting the anti-corruption war of the President and will not succumb to blackmail from any quarter and particularly not from PDP's paid Wailing Wailers.

Those who are out of government and who are using the loot they stole from all of us must know that neither President Buhari nor the SGF, Mr. Babachir David Lawal, is after any one. They only need to fear the consequences of their actions and inactions  while in office.

Everyone must reap what they have sown. If you have sown wild oats, there's no need expecting to reap wild Ixora. Mounting a smear campaign will not diminish the war against corruption nor intimidate those at the fore front of this fight for the life and soul of Nigeria. Nigerians know those who are fighting for them. They also do not appreciate those who maliciously fight those who are working hard to please them. Our President and his team are working in the interest of all Nigerians.

We as Nigerians must throw our weight behind the efforts being made by President Muhammadu Buhari and his team of credible men and women. They are working hard to clean the mess left by PDP's mis-governance, particularly in the last six years. The task of recovering our nation from the
strangle hold of a few to a nation that belongs to all, cannot be thwarted. On Nigeria We stand!

Rivers Black Day: Peterside Invites All Men of Goodwill to Rivers State

Dr. Dakuku Peterside, governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State has invited all men of goodwill who believe in the sanctity of human life to join Rivers people on Monday, 30 November as they mourn the brutal murder of their sons and daughters during the last general election.

Peterside who described as tragic and unforgettable, the persecution and death of over 100 APC faithful for aligning with the party of their choice, added that their struggle will not be in vain. According to him, the living will continue to remember them for paying the supreme price for democracy, liberty and freedom of choice.

“So tomorrow, Rivers people will be simultaneously celebrating and mourning our brothers and sisters whose lives were cut short by the inexplicable violence that characterized the general elections in Rivers State in March and April this year.

“Unfortunately, it is violence that has continued till today, merely transforming and mutating, from attacks before and during the general elections, we now see and suffer kidnapping, armed robbery and assassinations by persons who are yet to be dispossessed of the guns with which they were “empowered” during the elections.

“Men and women were attacked and killed in their homes in cold blood over their political leanings. Some were even attacked and killed while they were on their way to attend campaign rallies. Our campaign venues were also victims of explosive devices and outright attacks by gun men.

“On election days, ordinary citizens who merely wished to cast their votes as enshrined in the statutes were prevented from doing so by trigger-happy and dagger-wielding political thugs and mercenaries. In some cases, at polling units, elderly persons were beaten until their hearts literally stopped beating. Our brothers and sisters died because some politicians who were consumed with vaulting ambition engaged in horse play. More than 100 persons were killed, innocent victims of the acts of desperate politicians.

“We shall be talking a solemn procession in honour of the memories of victims of political violence. For us, they were not just victims but martyrs. They constitute the “strong breed” who took our collective burden to ensure the survival of democracy in Rivers State and Nigeria.

“It would therefore be callous of us not to remember and celebrate their exceptional sacrificial deaths. This is all the more necessary because law enforcement has not provided any form of succour to the families and friends of these victims. We will not falter or shirk our moral obligation to continue to advocate for justice for these brethren. That is the essence of Rivers Black Day. We are mourning and celebrating these martyrs because that is the least we can do for their great souls.

“I want to personally appeal to all men of goodwill to identify with the people of Rivers state on this BLACK DAY.

All Nigerians who appreciate the sanctity of human life  are invited to be part of this solemn event . As people who directly lost out associates and family, we recognized that at all times and in all situations we are “Greater Together” and our togetherness brings hope and succour.

“I welcome everybody to Rivers Black Day, a day dedicated to the memories of more than 100 persons who were sacrificially killed in furtherance of our democratic experience”.

Stakeholders Oversight/Public Service Rating And Performance Index Project

The Integrity Group in partnership with other civil society organizations, professionals, the media and other concerned citizens have commenced a stakeholders oversight and public service rating and performance index project in Rivers state.

The aim of this project is to promote accountable/healthy competition and productive governance among the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government including political office holders, both appointed and elected in the state.

This pilot project  is intended to serve as a watchdog which will put to task and constructively engage the various arms of government, towards ensuring that the vision and mission of good governance comes to fruition for the benefit of all Rivers people.

In the coming days, we shall among others, come up with rating criteria, actual  periodic ratings and reports on the performance of the various arms of govt, MDA's, LGC's etc which shall include ideas and suggestions  that will result in better governance and the delivery of same for the benefit of our people.

Therefore, as a first line charge and in view of the current economic situation in the country, particularly Rivets state,

1. We demand a Tax audit of all large and medium scale business interests in the state to show their tax payment records and verifiable sources of such payments to the coffers of government, through the Rivers state board of Internal Revenue which now has a new acting chairman.

Consequently, the new chairman is hereby requested to immediately embark on a verification tax audit exercise, at least for the past three years, as this will help in checking the excessive drainpipes and leakages occasioned by some alleged criminal elements in the board who it is claimed, connive with some of these large and medium scale companies in the state to divert billions of Naira of IGR meant for the state, thus starving the government of funds.

2. That the acting chairman of the state Revenue service should among others, urgently reposition the Board and ensure proper accountability and enforcement of the tax  laws of the state for the expected IGR boost, as we shall be assessing and spotlighting the RIRS in the coming days because we want our state to improve and make the needed progress that it deserves.

Nyesom Wike’s Administration Has Turned Port Harcourt From Garden City To Garbage City - Ken Atsuwete

"The Human Rights Alliance has declared that the Nyesom Wike’s administration has turned Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, from Garden City to Garbage City, in view of the monumental and unprecedented filth, as well as unimaginable smell and obstructions on the roads, waterways and drains across the state.

The group, through its Executive Director, Ken Atsuwete, yesterday in Port Harcourt, the state capital, stated that since May 29, the government of Wike, a former Minister of State for Education, had been unable to put its act of containing environmental and waste management issues together.

The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Chief Felix Obuah, who is also the Rivers Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), however, insisted that officials of RIWAMA had been putting in their best to ensure a cleaner Rivers state and should be encouraged.

The group said: “Human Rights Alliance has had to traverse Port Harcourt City, the disheartening,
degrading and disconcerting revelations shout louder than imagined. No matter how hard you fight to ignore the fact, Port Harcourt is not only untidy, the city shamefully smells and it is an eyesore. Our waterways and roads are death traps.

“Every green verge is littered with plastic waste. Empty sachet water bags, plastic bottles, plastic wrappers and whatever else that is out there. It is worse than a giant pigsty.

“We are wondering why the hitherto Garden City and the entire Rivers State, including our waterways, should be this dirty and unkempt, when there is what appears to be a government in place, when huge sums of money are received on a monthly basis from the federation account by the same government, from the internally generated revenue and fines imposed for environmental effluent charges imposed on companies and individuals, not to mention the loans that seem to flow without seizure for the government of Rivers State?”

The human rights group also expressed surprise that in Port Harcourt and other parts of Rivers state, there were no waste disposal bins, with residents having to dispose their refuse in the middle of motorable roads, thereby obstructing traffic, endangering lives, unleashing nauseating odour and grievous health hazards on the populace."

PDP Locks Down Bayelsa, As Ex-President Jonathan, Prince Secondus, Governor Mimiko, Other Party Stalwarts, Present Governorship Flag To Governor Seriake Dickson

Business and commercial activities were temporarily put on hold at the weekend in Yenagoa, as thousands of PDP supporters within and outside the State led by the immediate past President; Dr. Goodluck Jonathan thronged the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, venue of the PDP governorship flag presentation rally.
The crowd, which political watchers described as unprecedented in the political annals of the state, further confirmed the supremacy of the PDP and its candidate, Governor Seriake Dickson over other contesting parties.
With songs and dances, the party faithful left no one in doubt of their preparedness to come out en mass to vote for the governorship candidate of the PDP, which according to them, has rewritten the political history of the State in the last four years.
The security operatives had hectic times, controlling the crowd as market men and women and thousands of the PDP supporters from across the creeks of Bayelsa defied the scorching sun to witness what is being described as the mother of all rallies.
Describing Bayelsa state as a PDP stronghold, the immediate past president, Dr. Jonathan in his solidarity message said that, Governor Dickson by all conceivable standards has performed creditably well and is qualified to do a second term in office.
He called on Bayelsans, particularly the youths to secure their future by voting for the PDP in next Saturday’s governorship election, adding, Governor Dickson is the only candidate that can secure your future.
Describing Governor Dickson as a visionary leader, Dr. Jonathan stressed the need for Bayelsans to reciprocate his good deeds in terms of provision of infrastructure and laying the foundation for investment and entrepreneurship to thrive in the State.
According to him, “for the past 16 years, being a pioneer deputy Governor and a Governor at the State level, a vice-president and President of our Country, I am in a position to say that Dickson has tried and is still trying.
“You can see that within this short period, Dickson has been able to build a flyover and dualize a number of roads in Yenagoa. He has been able to build Toru-Ebeni Bridge. These are signs of development, in a town that is growing to be a city”
Dr. Jonathan, who later commissioned the first ever flyover and the newly dualized Azikoro road in Yenagoa, shortly after the rally added, “we should all be concerned about what Bayelsa will be in the next 25 years and beyond, and not what we want to gain today. You can only see that from the kind of policies, projects and programmes that a Governor brings to bear.
“I have looked at his policies and programmes and I am convinced that he is visionary. He is preparing Bayelsa state for tomorrow. I am telling the young people that this election is not for Jonathan or Dickson. This election is for you. So, vote for your liberation. You vote to live in peace and a developed society.
Performing the flag handing over ceremony, the Acting National Chairman of the Party, Prince Uche Secondus berated the Buhari led Federal Government for running the nation’s economy aground six months into office and urged Bayelsans to totally reject the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in the forthcoming election.
Prince Secondus, who noted that the PDP was aware of clandestine moves being made to rig the election, called on the electorate to come out en masse to vote for the PDP and stand firm to defend their electoral rights.
In the same vein, the Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, described the APC government as clueless and without direction in managing the national economy.
He urged Bayelsans to remain resolute in their support for the PDP candidate, as a vote for Governor Dickson will usher in more development, peace and stability.
In his speech, Governor Dickson reiterated his commitment to peaceful poll, and stressed the need for the Federal government to do everything within its reach to ensure a free and fair election in the state.
Appreciating the National Working Committee of the PDP and his teeming supporters within and outside the state, Governor Dickson disclosed that, the turnout has further confirmed that the people of the state have rejected the leading opposition party, (APC).
Dignitaries in attendance include; the Acting Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, Haliru Bello, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Vice-Chairman, PDP, South-south, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh, Chief Olisah Metuh, serving and former National Assembly members, including, Senators Adolphus Wabara, Ibrahim Mantu, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, Hon. Leo Ogor, Nollyhood stars and a host of others.

Late Eze Egi, A Man Of Courage, Justice And Peace – Peterside

All Progressives Congress APC governorship candidate in Rivers State, Dr Dakuku Peterside has described the late Eze Egi of Egiland in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eze Kingdom Elemchukwu Elenwa as an epitome of courage, peace and justice.

Peterside made the remarks yesterday at the burial ceremonies of the late king at Akabuka in Egi kingdom.

According to the APC chieftain, these virtues of fairness, impartiality and fearlessness characterized the royal life of the Eze during his reign.

He said the passage of the respected king is a loss, not only to Egi people but also to Rivers State and all lovers of peace and justice all over the world.

The late Eze Elenwa, Dr Peterside added, spent most of his time on the throne fighting for the good of his people. “He lived sacrificially and believed that justice and peace must go hand in hand. Today, he is remembered and appreciated for leaving a lasting legacy”.

He therefore charged the people of Egi not to despair but to remain united and to always be guided by truth, love for one another, desire for unity and all the good things that the late king stood for.

The burial ceremony of the late monarch was attended by people from all walks of life including the representative of Rivers state Governor, Hon. Emma Okah, Chief Godspower Ake, Hon. Honourable Asita, APC Deputy Governorship candidate, among others.

In his remarks, Chief G U Ake paid glowing tribute to the late monarch whom he described as a man that was not afraid of anything except God. He said the late monarch during his life time, was ready to pay any sacrifice for truth, justice and peace. Ake rounded off his speech by publicly acknowledging former Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for giving fulfilment to the several decades struggle of the Egi People.

President Buhari Calls For Greater Commonwealth Support For Nigeria And Other Countries Affected By Terrorism

President Muhammadu Buhari late Friday in Malta called for the establishment of a Commonwealth Committee to oversee the rendering of greater assistance and support to Nigeria and other member-countries which have been adversely affected by the scourge of terrorism.
Speaking at a banquet hosted by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II for Heads of State and Government participating in the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, President Buhari expressed the hope that the committee would have been established before the next meeting of the organisation.
The President said that he also expects the committee to visit member-countries of the Commonwealth where terrorist organisations have established a foothold with a view to evolving practical strategies for more meaningful assistance to the affected countries.
President Buhari urged the Commonwealth to show greater resolve in helping Nigeria and other developing nations in its ranks to overcome the challenges of economic development, security, terrorism and corruption.
“With the improvement of global communications, terrorism has no borders now. What happened recently in France had a profound effect on all of us, but very few countries realize that Nigeria has suffered terrorist casualties of over 10,000 killed in the last six years.
“Right now, we have over two million internally displaced persons, most of whom are women and children, and most of the children are orphans,” the President told the Queen and Commonwealth Heads of State and Government.
President Buhari who informed the gathering of efforts by Nigeria and other members of the Lake Chad Basin Commission to curb the menace of Boko Haram, noted that the problem of terrorism in West Africa had been aggravated by the collapse of the Gadhafi regime in Libya.
“We have agreed to a joint task-force for the elimination of Boko Haram, but it may not be easy, especially after the events in Libya when trained people with weapons moved back to Sahel region from where they were recruited by the former Libyan leader.
“Those weapons and expertise in their use are now aggravating the situation in the Sahel and further south,” the President said.
While calling for greater international support for Nigeria and other countries affected by terrorism, President Buhari expressed his administration’s appreciation of the assistance already being received from the Commonwealth, Britain, the Group of Seven Industrialized Nations, France and the United States.
“I am grateful to Britain, France and the United States. They have already sent teams to train the Nigeria Military and Police in the control of terrorism.
“The Commonwealth has helped us in so many ways by the visible support they have been giving to help us overcome the problem of terrorism.”
The Queen’s Banquet at which he spoke was also attended by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki Moon

Appeal Court Sacks Former Senate President David Mark From The Senate

The Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi, Benue State has nullified the election of former Senate President David Mark in a ruling delivered by Justice Olabisi Ige.

The court ruled on six grounds of appeal brought against a lower tribunal ruling which earlier upheld Mark’s election last month. In ruling on the  appeal brought by Daniel Onjeh, the South Benue Senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Justice Ige ruled that the election of Mr. Mark was fraught with so many irregularities that it failed all tests of “freeness and fairness”.

In particular, the court noted that Mr. Mark’s election results had been pre-written on March 28 before proper collation and announcement was made on March 30. The appeal panel ruled that a fresh election be conducted in 90 days in the senatorial zone.

APC Picks Yahaya Bello As Audu’s Replacement

After extensive consultations, the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday submitted the name of Yahaya Bello as the party’s new candidate for Kogi governorship supplementary poll.

Bello replaces Prince Abubakar Audu, who died last weekend after leading the poll with 41,000.
It was also learnt that the APC has retained Hon. James Abiodun Faleke as the party’s deputy governorship candidate.

Mohammed Audu, the son of the late governorship candidate, was dumped by the party because the party felt that fielding him might vitiate the entire governorship poll in the state.

But the people of Kogi West were mounting pressure on Faleke yesterday not to accept the nomination of Bello.

Although they asked Faleke to withdraw from the race, the deputy governorship candidate was yet to make up his mind on the next step at press time.

Investigation by our correspondent revealed that APC leaders, with the backing of some forces in the Presidency, opted for Bello because he came second in the party’s primaries behind Audu.

It was also gathered that the APC leaders felt there was no way Mohammed Audu could be fielded as a compromise candidate since he was not a candidate in the primaries.

A top source in APC said: “Our leaders met and after consultations reached a conclusion on the choice of Yahaya Bello from Kogi Central as the party’s governorship candidate to substitute the late Prince Abubakar Audu.

“The leaders arrived at the conclusion because Bello was second to Audu at the validly conducted governorship primaries of the party. Instead of running into crisis with fresh primaries, the party opted to dust up the result of the previous one which was witnessed by INEC.

“A letter, signed by the National Chairman of APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, on the choice of Bello has been submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday.”

Asked of other factors behind the choice of Bello, the top APC leader said: “Our leaders bought into the idea that Faleke is strange to the politics of the state, having had most of his political career in Lagos. They felt it is better for him to learn the ropes in the state before becoming a governor.

“They also argued that the choice of Bello will ensure power shift in the state and since the Ebiras were behind Audu, it won’t be difficult to foster understanding between Kogi East and Kogi Central Senatorial Districts.

“Do not forget that Kogi East had already produced the minister from the state.

“Another important factor is that some of the 91 polling units where elections were cancelled are in Kogi Central, and it will be easier to mobilize the electorate in the district to get the required votes to defeat the PDP candidate, Governor Idris Wada.

“There was also some conspiracy behind the refusal of the ticket for Faleke. Some presidency forces stamped their feet that he must not be allowed to step into Audu’s shoes because of internal power struggles in APC.

“I won’t give you names but the forced were more powerful than Oyegun and other NWC members.”

On the dumping of Mohammed Audu, the source said: “Our leaders were guided by Section 141 of the Electoral Act. If we choose him, the entire election will be voided.

“The section says: ‘An election tribunal or court shall not under any circumstance declare any person a winner at an election in which such a person has not fully participated in all the stages of such election.

“We love the Audus but we cannot take such a big risk. If Wada and PDP go to court, they will win against Mohammed Audu.”

As press time, there was pressure on Faleke by the people of Kogi West to opt out of the race.

A different source said: “There are many options open to Faleke but the people of Kogi West want him to withdraw from the race. If Yahaya Bello gets the ticket, he might be reduced to a dummy deputy governor.

“Unless Faleke can fight his cause in court and claim his mandate, he will be frustrated as a deputy governor. If he quits, the party will have justification for bringing Mohammed Audu and Kogi West will be politically alienated.”

Governor Ortom Seeks Lawyers’ Support In Loot Recovery

The Benue State Government has appealed to legal practitioners in the state to support its effort to recover looted funds and the fight against corruption, instead of constituting judicial stumbling blocks.

Governor Samuel Ortom made the appeal while declaring open the 2015 Law Week organised by the Nigerian Bar Association, Makurdi branch, for continued legal interaction among lawyers.

Speaking on the theme “The Role Of Lawyers In Sustaining Democracy In Nigeria”, Governor Ortom pointed out that Lawyers would be truly defending democracy if they desist from the “uncharitable act of unprofessional practices and frivolous applications”, which he said was frustrating government’s effort in fighting corruption.

Most Nigerian states are seeking more ways of generating revenue to ensure they meet their financial responsibility to workers. Some states are owing workers and pensioners several month’s salaries.

Recently, Governor Ortom assured local government retirees in the state of the efforts between his administration and the Federal Government, to secure additional funds for the payment of their outstanding pension arrears.

Bayelsa: PDP Raises Alarm Over Diversion Of Amnesty‘s N2b To Support Sylva’s Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State has raised alarm over fresh moves by the Federal Government to divert public funds to support the governorship election of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Timipre Sylva, through the Amnesty Programme.

Director of Publicity of the Restoration Campaign Organisation, Jonathan Obuebite, who disclosed this in a statement yesterday alleged that acting on directives from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir David Lawal, the Special Adviser to the President on the Amnesty Programme,Brigarier-General Paul Boroh (rtd) has been asked to release the sum of N2b from the Amnesty Programme accounts to support Sylva’s election.

Obuebite said the allegation has a “strong conviction” as reliably gathered by PDP intelligence network and corroborated by“authoritative source at the Presidential Villa in Abuja”.

He claimed in the statement that the funds would be released today or latest Monday and has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently investigate the allegation.

He stated that while the SGF and other friends of Timipre Sylva at the Presidency are right to support their friend in his gubernatorial aspiration, the decision to divert funds from the Amnesty Programme was totally wrong, noting that the funds in question were public funds meant for the payment of school fees of ex-militants who are undergoing training abroad under a special Federal Government amnesty scholarship programme.Other ex-militants at home were also to benefit from the funds as accrued stipends owed them.

Giving insight into the development, Obuebite stated that Sylva had been sighted at the Amnesty Programme office in Abuja a couple of times and that he was the brain behind Boroh’a appointment as Special Adviser on the Amnesty Programme through his influence with the SGF.

He alleged that given his influence, too, as a retired General Boroh has been muzzling his way to deploy soldiers to guard Sylva and his aides in the course of his governorship campaign which, he said, suggested a larger than life status for a man not occupying any public office.

“This is an abuse of office” he stated.

He also accused Boroh and Sylva of intent to use the military to rig the election, saying there were reports already towards that end but that the people were poised to resist it.”

“We, therefore, call on President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate this diversion of funds meant for the payment of six months stipends owed to ex-militants to support Sylva’s campaign without further delay in the interest of public probity and indeed the cherished integrity of Mr. President”.

Wike Allow Rivers People Mourn Thier Dead...You Cannot Beat A Child And Also Disallow It From Crying

My Dear People of Rivers State,

Our attention has been drawn to a meeting held today between Barr. Nyeson Wike, the embattled Governor of Rivers State, his Attorney General, Mr Chinwe Aguma, SAN, two of his media aides and selected Local Government Caretaker Committee Chairmen, which objective is to cause obstruction to the peaceful procession planned by Rivers people on Monday 30 November 2015 in remembrance of all those killed in Rivers State during the 2015 General Election.
Our source revealed that Barr Wike gave the following directives:
1. That the Attorney General should immediately approach the Acting Chief Judge of Rivers State to procure an interim order of injunction (ex parte) restraining the any procession in Rivers State on Monday. As we speak right now, the Attorney General has detailed three (3) Lawyers from the Stare Ministry of Justice who are working in the home of one of the Judges of the Rivers State High Court to produce a purported Order of Injunction. The Order is expected to be perfected tonight against Monday, HOWEVER, WE WISH TO NOTIFY THEM THAT WE HAVE OBTAINED CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT AS AT CLOSE OF BANKING TODAY, NO PAYMENTS HAD BEEN MADE FOR THE PROCESSES.
2. That the Attorney General of Rivers State should immediately interface with the Inspector General of Police (whom Wike supporters boast is a very loyal friend and sympathizer of Wike's course) and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 6 Calabar to ensure that the peaceful procession tagged "RIVERS BLACK DAY" does not hold. The information has it that the Attorney General is already on his way to Abuja to meet with the IGP.
3. That his media aides should do everything humanly possible to dissuade Rivers people from participating in the RIVERS BLACK DAY procession, including launch an anti campaign in the Social Media. To achieve this, one of Barr. Wike's Media aides, Mr. Oraye St. Franklin, who in collaboration with one Ross Alabo George operates a pseudo Facebook account with the name: RIVERS AMACHREE, has criminally issued a FALSE AND MALICIOUS Press Statement, where he called on Rivers People not to honour the RIVERS BLACK DAY procession, by impersonating and purporting same to have been issued by the Publicity Secretary of APC, Mr. Chris Finebone, knowing same to be false.
4. That the selected Caretaker Committee Chairman, especially of Obio/Akpor, Port Harcourt, Ikwerre, Emohua, Okrika, Etche, Ogu/Bolo, Omuma, Degema, Akuku and Asari should mobilize some miscreants ON THE SAME ROUTE OF THE RIVERS BLACK DAY procession in the pretense that they are carrying out a procession tagged: NIGERIA JUDICIARY MUST STOP THE GANG UP AGAINST WIKE
What is Governor Wike's grouse that Rivers People are mourning their dead? Barr. Wike and his allies said they didn't kill our brothers and sisters; that the deceased "killed themselves". Should we not be ALLOWED SOME PEACE to reason together and talk to ourselves ON WHY SOME OTHERS AND INDEED THE REST OF US MUST NOT "KILL OURSELVES " AGAIN , NO MATTER THE REASON AND THE SAKE?
Wike let us be, allow us to mourn our dead in peace.
In the circumstance, we are hereby calling on Mr. President; The Director General, Department Of State Services; Inspector General of Police, to call Barr Nyesom Wike to order and allow rivers people mourn their dead.
Enough is enough. We cannot continue to fold our arms and watch while a negligible few would continue to terrorize the majority of rivers people because they bear arms.
The IGP and the Nigerian state must protect us now or we shall be left with no other option than to protect ourselves. Enough is enough.
Mr. President, Mr. IGP, the Attorney General of the Federation; we urge you to bring to book all those who were involved in the killing of these innocent, unsuspecting and harmless citizens. This is our demand.
