Former Vice President
Atiku Abubakar condoles Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State over the death
of his mother, Hajia Fadimatu Umaru Ganduje on Friday.
In a statement issued by his media
office in Abuja on Friday, 3 March, the former Vice President says Hajjia
Fadimatu lived a fulfilled life.
According to Atiku, the deceased
had lived long enough to see her children realize their dreams in their
professional fields.
The Turaki Adamawa notes that a
mother's love is the deepest for any family and therefore, says he knows the
pains of Governor Ganduje.
The former Vice President says as
character moulders, a mother is a great positive influence on her children, and
their well being.
Recalling his own experience as a
child, Atiku notes that "a mother is always ready to sacrifice her all to
make her children happy, and it is on this note that I commiserate with the
Ganduje family over the loss of its matriarch."
The former Vice President says the
greatest tribute to a mother is to live by her virtues.
He prays to Allah to
grant the deceased eternal rest in peace.
