DCP Kolo Yusuf Is Not Behind The Raid Of Edwin Clark's Residence - Young Professionals

The United Young Professionals has demanded for unreserved apologies from an online newspaper, Sahara Reporters for defamation of Character of the Commander of Special Tactical Squad, DCP Kolo Yusuf.

In a press release on Friday in Abuja, while reacting to the publications, the National Coordinator of  United Young Professionals, Adewole Kehinde said that Sahara Reporters goofed for misleading Nigerians that "Clark Names Top Officers Allegedly Behind Home Raid" where the workaholic and super cops Deputy Commissioner of Police, Yusuf Kolo, Commander of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tactical Squad name was mentioned alongside an Assistant Inspector General of Police, Federal Intelligence, Umoru Usman, as the one behind the raiding of Chief Clark's house.

Adewole said, "It may interest Nigerians to know that DCP Kolo was at Abuja/Kaduna highway on Monday where he was parading some suspects along side the Force PRO, Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood and several journalists in attendance.

He further reiterated that those behind the raid have been dismissed and the officer that led them is undergoing interdiction now and the police service commission would determine his fate.

"While we demand an unreserved apologies from Sahara Reporters, we appeal to DCP Kolo Yusuf not to be bothered by the blackmail coming from Sahara Reporters and continue his work in bringing sanity to the country through arrest and prosecution of armed robbers, kidnappers, cattle rustlers e.t.c, the statement concluded.
