The Osun State Police Command has paraded a suspected murder, Olatunji Julius for murder of one Ojo Isaac Durojaiye aged 76 years old.
According to the Osun State Police Commissioner, the suspect on the 19th of July 2018 sneaked into the house of the deceased who was incapacitated health-wise and was alone at home at about 12:00pm when others living with him had gone out.
"Olatunji Julius attacked the 75yrs old deceased, robbed him of his money amount not known, recharged cards, 25 liters of red oil and other valuables yet to be estimated and hit the victim on the head with a chair to death. Suspect who has been on the run since the incident to unknown destination was on 5th September, 2018 arrested at his hideout in Ekiti State.
"The suspect has made useful statement and confessed to the crime during interrogation and will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation, the statement concluded.
