Gov. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano
State has approved the appointment of a new Management Committee for Kano
Pillars Football Club with immediate effect.
In a statement signed by the Director General, Media and Communications to the Governor, Salihu Tanko Yakasai said the new Board/Management has Muhammad Tukur Babangida as Chairman.
Other members are Prof. Musa Garba
Yakasai, Faruk Sani Haladu, Tijjani Sale Minjibir, Sani Lawan, Murtala Alasan
Zainawa and Yahaya Idris (Minister)
The statement added that Gov. Ganduje appeals to the new management to work diligently and ensure that the objective of the administration of restoring the glory of the club is achieved.
By this statement, the former
management has been directed to immediately handover all public properties,
including finances under it, to the new management.
