The Warm Crowd That Received Ayade

Some might say it was a little portion of citizens of Cross River State, but surely every ethnic clan in the state was represented in the Magaret Ekpo International Airport to receive a governor that believes and works towards structuring a better living condition for the people of Cross River State.

The traffic all around the airport was one that left deep thoughts in the minds of many, commuters wondered the kind of personality that could attract such warm crowd. The weather was friendly and the faces of Cross Riverians were full of smiles of solidarity for a leader many missed within this short period he was away to sow good seeds for a rich harvest in the nearest future. Of course the struggles were there for many to have a glimpse of a leader that is praised all around a state that has a population of more than 3 million people. The "Ayade we believe" chants sounded like the old Hosanna trumpets of Jerusalem. 

"Yes the governor is home and we missed his presence, but we are sure his absence will bring great economic fortunes to the state" those were the thoughts flying round the atmosphere of happiness and believe. In his speech, he assured the people that he has and will always remain committed to seeing to a better Cross River State, the hymn of politics with ethics once again rocked the stage as the governor re-echoed those words that contains deep and passionate meaning on how governance should be correlated with politics in a developing economy like ours. Importantly, 70% of the crowd were mainly masses, who unanimously expressed their support for a governor that has been friendly to low income earners.

Everybody is happy, the people's governor is back. The concept of his arrival shows that he is widely accepted in the state. One would imagine where all of these developments in the state are coming from, but the reality is in most of his travels. He sees Cross River State as a vehicle that has to move to attain the purpose of its production. His words alone on that ground made a flashback in the hearts of many of the massive development that has rocked the state since he came on board.
