Politics Is Not A Dirty Game - Masari

The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has explained that the bad believe by many people that politics is a business of people with no integrity is not true and should be a changed.

According to Katsina Media and Publicity, the Governor was speaking at the event of 16th Islamic Vacation Course organised by the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Katsina Area Unit on Friday at Ulul Albab Science Secondary School, Katsina.

Masari explained that the believe is what makes politicians suffer in relation to the present.

"If you take politics as a bad game and live it under the hands of worse men, the leaders will be bad, hence, bad governance and lack of moral values and no development, Masari said.

While explaining the need for training and recruiting good and young people into politics, the Governor commended the MSSN for organising the program and called on the youth to use what they had learned during the course.

@katgovmedia reports that in his presentation, Dr. Bala Muhammad, a lecturer at Bayero University, Kano who is also a weekly columnist with Daily Trust Newspaper presented a paper on "The effect and influence of drugs". He however lamented on the effect and dangers this menace poses the society to while calling on government to take harsh measures to curtail the menace.

Leader of Jama'atul Izalatul Bid'a wa'ikamtissunah, sheikh Yakubu Musa Hassan who doubled as National Da'awa chairman of JIBWIS, called on people to select the best leaders, adding it is only with and through good leaders that societies prosper and develop.
