Reports reaching Reporters reveals that one Paul Eris also known as Ogunboss is terrorizing the people of Peremabiri community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area with the assistance of men of the Nigerian Navy.
Residents have fled the community and some have taken refuge in the forest in fear of the sporadic shootings.
This is coming ahead of the guber re-run in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area between Governor Seriake dickson of the Peoples’ Democratic Party and Timipre Sylva of the All Progressive Congress.
Ogunboss is said to be a close ally of the APC guber candidate Sylva popularly known to Ogunboss as “RThunder” and to members of his cult the Supreme Vikings Confraternity.
The people are calling on the Federal Government to intercede and protect lives and properties ahead of the elections. Elections are to hold on Saturday 9th January, 2016.
