NISEPA Fumigates Limawa Area Of Minna, Niger State.




The Management of Niger State Environmental Protection Agency (NISEPA) has carried out fumigation of Limawa Community in the heart of the State capital Minna where the first Coronavirus case (COVID-19) tested positive last week, as directed by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.

The agency carried out the fumigation of the community in order to disinfect the area so as to ensure that the possibility of the virus still being active becomes eliminated.

With the residents of Limawa placed on isolation for 14-days, NISEPA moved in to fumigate the community.

About a fortnight ago, NISEMA in conjunction with the State Ministry of Environment and Forestry started the fumigation of the State, and major places they fumigated included; places of worship, markets, schools and other public places that attracts large numbers of people.

The agency has moved to Bida Local Government area to continue with the fumigation exercise as promised, to disinfect all the 25 local government areas in the state.
