Atiku Condoles With Lamido Of Adamawa Over Mother's Demise

Former Vice President and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar sends his heartfelt condolences to Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Barkindo Mustapha, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Adda Gombeji, at the age of 87.

The mother of the Lamido passed away a few days ago peacefully at her residence in Yola, Adamawa State.

The former Vice President praises the late Lamido's mother for the enviable and spectacular role she played in the life of the Lamido and in the life of the people of the people of Adamawa all through the period of her eventful life.

The Turaki Adamawa recalls the many sacrifices borne by the late Lamido's mother which translated to better communal relations not only among the people of Adamawa but also among the people of the different ethnic groups that live and work in Adamawa adding that the late Lamido's mother lived an exemplary life and a life of service.

Reflecting on the rich life of the Lamido's mother, the former Vice President says that the Lamido's mother was a lover of peace and worked hard for those around her to live in peace and happiness. He says that the long life she enjoyed before her demise is a testimony to the benefit of her peaceful and contented life while here on earth. He wishes the family particularly the Lamido, the fortitude to bear the loss, and the deceased, Aljanah Firdausi.
