The Lagos State Chapter of PDP has joined in marking the yuletide but with a strong show of sympathy to Lagosians who at this time are facing unprecedented tough celebration which cut across all walks of life.
In a press statement signed by the Lagos PDP Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, he said that the party opined that the unplanned governance of Ambode is why Lagosians cannot enjoy the Christmas with affordable food stuffs, free flow of traffic, Security to mention a few.
It particularly mocked the APC government in the state of purportedly invested in Farmlands within and outside the state "but now lagosians cannot get any farm produce to celebrate the Christmas or they have taken all the farm produce to their leaders and members.
These are comedians in power" the party stated.
The Party however urged the people to continue to have faith in the lord and resort to praying for the Ambode administration which obviously is incapable of moving the state forward. According to the PDP, celebrations in the state are "dead under Ambode.
It is laughable that the governor canceled street carnivals. Indeed the people are not only poorer for any carnival, they are in pains and angry, but even if the APC has given us this pains as Christmas gift, we should show gratitude to God that we are alive and thus give back to APC prayers for success.
We cannot afford to retaliate the gesture of the present government because this party appears mean to take everyone into worse celebrations"
