The Kano State Police Command has arrested and paraded one Suraja Shehu and Yahaya Sharif for criminal conspiracy and forming a gang of anal sex workers.
Also paraded is a one Aminu Musa, 41yrs old informal School Teacher employed by a couple to teach their children Qur’an studies inside their residence located at Dakata Kawaji Qtrs, Kano but was caught raping an 8yrs old girl he was supposed to teach the Holy Qur’an according to a press release by the Kano State Police Force Public Relations Officer, SP. Magaji Musa Majia on Thursday.

PRESS BRIEFING, BY SP. MAGAJI MUSA MAJIA,amnipr POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER KANO STATE POLICE COMMAND ON THURSDAY 22nd NOVEMBER, 2018.
ARREST OF RAPIST: On 20/11/2018 at about 1730hrs, one Aminu Musa, 41yrs old of Layin Umaru Kiru Dakata Kawaji Qtrs Kano, an informal School Teacher at Massalacin Gidan Alhaji Garba Mai Tampol, Dakata Qtrs, married with 2 daughters, employed by a couple to teach their children Qur’an studies inside their residence located at Dakata Kawaji Qtrs, Kano. He was caught red handed in the corridor of the house raping and 8yrs old girl he was supposed to teach the Holy Qur’an. An elder sister to the victim caught him and video-record the incident. The suspect confessed to the commission of the crime and stated that he lured the girl through persistent embracement and cuddling. Victim was taken to the Hospital were the medical team on duty confirm penetration. Investigation is in progress.
2. ARREST BURGLARS: On 21st November, 2018 the duo of Suraja Shehu of Layin Lale Cinema Gorondutse Qtrs and Yahaya Sharif of Rijiyar Lemo Qtrs Kano, criminally conspired and formed a gang of anal sex workers, enticing innocent male persons in various Quarters of Kano City through GSM Calls. They are using whatsApp messenger to share phone numbers and other information about their target. When target turn out to resist their offer, they would be going around maliciously attacking their victim’s reputation thereby defaming his character in the community and in turn demands ransom. They also use to threaten their victims with postings on facebook and private local Radio Stations, if their demands are not met. The suspects confessed to the crime while investigation is going on to identify victims of their slander and arrest their accomplices for subsequent prosecution in Courts of competent jurisdiction.
