Masari Approved Hajj Fare Savings For Intending Pilgrims



Katsina State Governor, Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari has approved the commencement of the collection of the 2019 Hajj deposit from intending pilgrims in the State as directed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) that all State Pilgrims Board Nationwide should commence collecting the 2019 Hajj deposit in their respective States from November 2018.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that consequent upon this, the Governor graciously approved the commencement of the collection of N300,000.00 as minimum deposit from intending pilgrims with effect from November, 2018 to the month of March, 2019 as stipulated by NAHCON.

In a statement signed by the Executive Director, Alh. Muhammadu Abu Rimi and issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Board, Alh.Badaru Karofi called on all people of Katsina State willing to partake in the 2019 Hajj to obtain Certified Bank Draft and visit the Zonal Offices nearest to them to make the deposit and conduct the necessary registration under the following guidelines:

- Indigine letter
- E-passport
- Certified Bank draft of a minimum og N300,000.00 or more.
- All female pilgrims must have a guarantor and Muharram who will stand as surety against absconding and not returning home.

@katgovmedia reports that the board also appealed to intending pilgrims to duly approach the Pilgrims Zonal Offices for the payment of their deposit and warned that all payment must be made in Certified Bank Draft payable to the Katsina State Pilgrims.
