A former APC chieftain and aspirant for Nasarawa / Toto federal constituency, in the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Hon. Abdullahi A. Ibrahim Aibro has open up on his exit from the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, to the the Social Democratic Party, SDP, the aspirant Tuesday gave reasons why he defected from the party.
Hon. Aibro Speaking through one of his New Online Media Assistant, Yahaya Idris, in Nasarawa LGC, the politician explained that the lack of internal democracy within the ranks of the party in the state contributed hugely to his unceremoniously exit.
He said some so-called APC power drunk individual high jacked every structure of the party and excluded all other stakeholders including some aspirants and key party members.
"There was a grand conspiracy against Aibro from some APC forces within the state which was uncovered few days to the primary".
"The conspiracy was not only against Aibro but against the wishes of the people of Nasarawa / Toto federal constituency".
"A betrayal of high order from a senior party man whom nobody has been able to keep a lasting relationship with in Nasarawa State particularly his host LGC in the western zone of the state".
"In the picture of all these major stakeholders in the state advised Aibro to leave the APC because of the party atrocities perpetrated by those who claimed to be in power they automatically owned everything, however, their new order is totally lack of internal democracy.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari led central administration for massive infrastructure across the country.
He described Buhari as a good father in whom all Nigerians are well pleased with and urging him to rise and checkmate his party activities before it's get out of hand. Aibro said.
