.......Calls for his Immediate Release
The undeclared winner of Osun governorship election,Senator Ademola Adeleke has congratulated incarcerated leader of PDP in Osun state,Alhaji Fatai Diekola on his 62nd birthday.
In a statement issued to newsmen Wednesady morning, Senator Adeleke descibed Diekola as a "potent grassroot politician with deep love of his people at heart", calling for his immediate release and exoneration from trumped up charges.
The PDP candidate in tommorow's supplementary polls noted that Diekola is a man of the people whose life is marked by consistent service to the poor and the downtrodden,urging men and women of goodwil within and outside the country to wade into the persecution of the politician.
"On this occassion of your birthday, I felicitate with you.Even as you are unjustly detained,we celebrate you as we know freedom is close by.I wish you many happy returns.
"We are convinced that after darkness,there will be light.Osun will soon be divinely lightened up. Happy birthday", the statement noted.
