Delegates from the 34 Local Government Areas of the All Progressives Party - APC Katsina State Chapter had successfully been screened and are all set to commence vote casting to elect the party's flagbearer in the 2019 elections.
The exercise was segmented into the three Senatorial zones of the state namely; the South (Funtua), Central (Katsina) and North(Daura) Senatorial Zones.
Earlier, the Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari had visited the Katsina APC Zonal office for his screening.
It will be recalled that Katsina Media and Publicity reported the Katsina State Governor had purchased his declaration of intent form, submitted the form and was successfully screened last week
