The Katsina State Governor Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has appeared before the screening committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday in Abuja.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the screening exercise was being carried out at Gana street of Aso Drive in Asokoro District of Abuja.
Addressing news men shortly after the exercise, Masari explained that the screening was conducted in a transparent and fair manner, adding that the screening was in compliance with the constitution of the APC.
The Governor told journalists that the primary elections in Katsina would be conducted through indirect elections, in a free, fair and credible manner.
He expressed optimism that Katsina state would continue to be 100% APC state.
It will be recalled that @katgovmedia had reported last week, the Governor submitted his nomination form for reelection as Katsina State Governor.
