Kano Police Command Parade Suspected Armed Robbers


     



The Kano State Police Command has paraded gang of robbers that attacked a resident of Masaka Town in Nassarawa State where they dispossessed their victims off valuables including a Mercedes Jeep ML350 with Reg. No. ABC 554AY.



Addressing the media on Monday in Kano, the Kano State Police Command PRO, SP. Magaji Musa Majia said that having shared the coordinated information, the Command’s detectives from FSARS intercepted the said Motor vehicle along Hadejia Rd Kano, occupied by four men who were instantly arrested.



The suspect are; Kenneth Adam, Ali Jafaru all of Masaka, Nassarawa State, Abdulkadir Shaka and Aliyu Audu all of Gunduwawa Qtrs Kano.



In another development, the Command’s effort to rid the State of criminals,  has resulted in raiding of Tudun Wazirchi and Badawa Quarters, Kano where large quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp was intercepted concealed inside palm Kernel shells to beat security operatives.



About 189 parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp worth N6, 615,000 were recovered.

  

Also, one Musbahu Usman aka Dangaja of Kofar Na’isa Qtrs, Nura Hussain also known as  Lado of Jambulo Quarters, Kano conspired and trail an innocent person from a Bank along Bank Road after withdrawing the sum of N500,000. They attacked him along Audu Bako Way while boarding a tricycle, extort the money and severed injuries on him.



The Command PRO said the suspect were pursued and arrested while the money was recovered immediately. He further confirmed that the duo were habitual criminals who were frequently arrested for crimes such as extortion, pick pocketing, theft of motorcycles etc and charged to various courts for prosecution.



He said that investigation is in progress to arrest the remaining accomplices and charge them to Court.
