We Never Had A Governor In Katsina State That Did For Us What Masari Is Doing Now ~ Daura Elders



The Delegation of 5 Local Government Areas of Daura Emirate, were at the Muhammadu Buhari House, on Thursday to thank and appreciate the Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari for what they called a new and giant stride in making most of their problems solved.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the leader of the Delegation, the Sarkin Sudan of Daura, Alh. Nalado Yusuf said since the creation of Katsina State in 1987, their senatorial zone had never had a Governor who made efforts on developmental projects for them.

In itemising some of these projects, he started with the renovations and total upgrade of the General Hospital Daura, which has been in existence since the old Kaduna State and had never been upgraded,  in the area of roads constructions he cites the Kwoza - mai aduwa road which he said the yarning for this road had been since 1987 but now a done project,  the road of Fago- yakawada-Mararraba, Sandamu-Baure is also a deal done.

Aside numerous initiatives in agriculture ranging from fertilizer at affordable prices, construction and maintenance of earth Dam in each LGA, irrigation scheme, soft loan and many more.

@katgovmedia reports that Nalado commended the Governor's effort on the soon to come University of Transport stating; "Your Excellency without your contribution it would not have been ours".

The Governor while responding appreciated the gesture of the people of Daura zone, he said, "the people of Daura zone had done all the needful for our success". He also asked them to extend his kind regards to hisH Royal Highness, the Emir of Daura for he has not only demonstrated royal role but has proven to be a father.

Masari reiterated that in spite of the paucity of fund bedevilling this Administration, they can boast out their chest and face anybody as there is non of the 34 LGAs that they have not done at least a project.

Our correspondents gathered that while commenting on the recent release by OPEC, Masari said $460B was accrued by the Jonathan's Administration in 6 years while the Buhari's Administration had, according to the OPEC accrued the sum of $94B in the last 3 years.
The report reveals that the $94B received by the Buhari had yielded double of the projects under Jonathan's Administration, Masari concluded that leadership remain central to Nigeria's problem.
