According to him “when the likes of my late father and other seniorScitizens of the state were struggling for independence i the state from Plateau State, they did not take the issue of ethnic, religion, section or any other thing into consideration

“All they stood collectively was for the state to get created, therefore, youths in the state should try as much as possible to emulate the virtures of these founding fathers if the state  to chart a course for the state by ensuring that next year general elections is hitch free, devoid of crisis” he appealed

He stated that the forthcoming election could be disrupted if youths are not guided properly to shun all form of violence before, during and after the 2019 general elections and avoid thuggery, he stress the need for youths to imbibe the habit of volunteerism, to navigate the turbulent murky waters of politics in Nigeria.

“As 2019 elections draw near, never allow yourselves to be used by anybody either as thugs or for manipulation during elections, rather get interested in who governs you and how the leaders are elected

“the government on their part must empower INEC to conduct free, fair and credible elections in 2019 and beyond, we must give our support while insisting on a permanent end to impunity, zero-tolerance for thuggery and manipulation of elections, the election in 2019 must be the game-changer” he said
