"We Are Putting Smiles On The Faces Of The People In Term Of Infrastructural Developments, Social Commitments And Services - Adeagbo

It's your birthday month, how do you feel to be 43?  and sharing the same birth month with His Excellency, Governor Ajimobi?

At 43, I feel so grateful to Almighty Allah for His exceptional grace, mercy and love. The journey so far has been wonderful, I have seen pain and that is why I'm trying as much as possible to bring succor to my people. At some point some years back, I was almost losing hope, then,  the future looked bleak and surrounded by darkness, but I thank the Almighty Allah that the despairing period is in the past.

In respect of  how I feel sharing the same birth month as His Excellency, Governor Ajimobi,  my benefactor, my father and the greatest man in the world, I feel indeed humbled, delighted and I see a  great future ahead of me, having been privileged to be mentored by  one of the pride of the Nation. In addition, I  am always completely overwhelmed to be a son and an associate of Governor Abiola Ajimobi has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am also grateful to his wonderful and lovely family.

Just recently, you were conferred with a chieftaincy title by HRH, Oba Eleyinpo of Ipapo, how does it feel to be a Chief?

This is another reason for me to be grateful to the Almighty Allah for the opportunity to be conferred with a Chieftaincy title at 43. I feel Chieftaincy titles are special honour and recognition within the traditional institution. I want to use this medium to thank Kabiesi Eleyinpo and the great people of Ipapo for this honour, I want to also assure them that I will never let them down.

It is an election year, what are your thoughts on the political scene of the nation?

Well, the season is not strange to the old players and the new players too. In line with INEC timetable, the campaign has started and all the parties are busy trying to sell their products. It's a political market of ideas and ideologies, all the parties are pushing their programmes forward to the electorates. Like I said, it's not a strange time. More importantly, for us in APC, it is a reporting time, we have led the center for the past three and a half years and our scorecard is visible even to the blind. We have recorded tremendous achievements, especially in economic growth, great improvement in road and rail infrastructures. In agricultural development, we have moved from been importer of food to exporter of food. We can conveniently say that we have food security. PMB's government has put a high premium on the security of lives and properties in the Country. Before this government, Boko Haram had captured some part of the country in the Northeast and Northwest, but today, despite the renew challenges of the insurgency, we are proud to have all our states and local governments intact. Looking at the state of the nation under the leadership of PMB and PYO, we are a lot better than where we were coming from and we can dream together for the Next Level.

You sound so confident forgetting that there are still lingering issues arising from the last primaries and opposition can cash in on it?

In this game, there are two players, the big players and the small players. What am I simply saying is that, at the APC National Leadership level, without listing names, all internal issues are being dealt with. This shakeup happens every political season, it's part of the political event in the Nation's political scene and you must understand that you win some and lose some. The two most important things for us in  APC are our achievements so far as a witness by the people and the numbers we have in our electorate bank, I can guarantee you that we are coasting to victory in February.

Let us talk about your State, how well do you think you are doing?

How do you mean?  Are you asking about how well Mr. Transformation has performed or How the party is doing ahead of 2019 or are you worried about why we have brilliant candidates for our various positions?

Let me start this way, Governor Abiola Ajimobi has not only raised the bar of governance in the State, but he has also changed the entire architectural structure of politics and governance of Oyo State, since his emergence in 2011. Governance of the State is on the Next Level in terms of Security of life and properties, infrastructure development, tremendous improvement in the economy driven by private investors, foreign investors and SME  consequently improving our IGR and GDP.  Governor Ajimobi has also contributed majorly to creating good roads in the State, the transportation system has also improved tremendously,  many new innovative educational institutions and many health institutions also been created in the State. Governor Ajimobi has made us proud, he has made the State proud and it will forever be in the history of the State, how great he has been for the past almost eight meritorious years.

As for the Party led by Our Brilliant Baba Akin Oke, we are as strong as ever, as ever ready as ever. When you have a team coach by the best coaching crew in the world, your confidence level remains at the top-level, I can assure you of almost 100% victory in the coming elections.

This is also so obvious in the team of players we have lined up for the 2019 matches, from the Governorship to the Senatorial, the House of Reps team and the House Assembly team. A great team of brilliant, well seasoned and experienced people with a very high sense of management and governance, having been on the Next Level since 2011, in 2019 Oyo State is going to the VERY NEXT LEVEL.

I like your confidence...

Thank you

You are one of the Local Government Chairman of OkeOgun and looking at the last elections results, what should we be expecting this time?

Thriving hard for the All Progressive Party to win all the ten Local Governments in 2019 Insha Allah.

Let's talk about Itesiwaju, What has been your achievements and how well are you ready for 2019

So far so good I will say we are work in progress, constantly we thrive hard to make sure we put a smile on the faces of the people in term of infrastructural developments, social commitments and services, thriving hard to bring Unity to the land.

We constantly make sure our youths are empowered, staff welfare and basic needs of the people are well taken care of.

Our long-term plans are in progress and I can assure you, by the time we are leaving in 2021, history would be made.
