The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP)  in Nasarawa State, Hon. Ishaq Kana has given more hint why he will continue to distance himself from present APC led government in the State despite sharing same membership then with the latter following their inconsiderate manner and anti-people policies aimed at enriching themselves and their cronies only. 

Hon. Ishaq Kana, further stated that all his advises to the present government on how to better the lives of common man through human capital development  remain heedless, hence he resorted to seeking mandate through people's platform which is the SDP,  in order to right the wrong perception in the State. 

He made this observation known yesterday in Kokona LGC at a very colourful event to formally welcomed  decampees from ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, People's Democratic Party, PDP,  and All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA to his fold amidst mammoth crowd chanting Sai Ishaq Ishaq Ishaq and SDP Zamuyi for governorship position in 2019.

He quickly explained his past achievements during his representations at both state and national constituencies where he was able touched every critical sectors in the society within the constituents and beyond raging from construction of bridges, rural electrification projects, roads construction, built hospitals, sponsored free medical outreach, youths and women empowerment and different brands of cars were shared to party supporters, others included drilling of boreholes, job employment to teeming unemployed, launch human capital development tagged #Operation_Chop_Make_I_Chop for his people and Muslims, Christains faithful were sponsored to Mecca and Jerusalem  respectively, in addition over 13 hectares of land was shared to 220 persons in Angwan Jama'a GRA Keffi, Keffi LGC, 600 sewing machines distributed, over 150 transformers distributed the latest was in Kana electoral ward, Kokona LG and Uke in Karshi development Area of Karu LGA among others. 

"I will do double of these if am elected as Nasarawa governor, all places in the State will feel my impacts".

"I have never faltered while holding public  offices over the years I have served my people with fear of God".

According to Ishaq Ahmed Kana, said he  spent uninterrupted 16 years with different successive government in the State from 1999 to 2015 when he finally left office after a single term in the national assembly.

He spent eight years with first executive governor, Sen Abdullahi Adamu as Protocol Director Government House Lafia from 1999-2003, another four years in Governor Aliyu Akwe Doma led administration as house of Assembly Member represented Kokona West constituency 2003-2007 the last but not the least in the Governor Alh Umaru Tanko Al-Makura led administration he was at the National Assembly as federal lawmaker represented Kokona, Karu and Keffi federal constituency from 2007-2011.

These and many were his past experienced which qualified him for a position of a governorship to enable him continue with people's oriented policies to the good people of Nasarawa State.
