The United Young Professionals has called on the general public to ignore the tweet message from ACP Abayomi Shogunle saying "Having sex in car not crime".
In a press release by the National Coordinator of the United Young Professionals, Adewole Kehinde, he said that the only person permitted by Police management to speak on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force is DCP Jimoh Moshood, who is the Force Public Relations Officer.
"We must commend the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal for saying "sex in car is a crime punishable with 2yrs in prison and saying Shogunle’s assertion misplaced".
"We therefore, urged Nigerians especially our young ones to be guided by relevant sections of the law against such acts, Adewole Kehinde concluded.
