The Wife of the President, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday, 8th December, 2018 in Maiduguri receives an award of excellence for her humanitarian activities.
In a press release by the Director of Information to Wife of the President, Suleiman Haruna, he said that the award was presented by the Governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima.
Mrs Buhari also commissioned a school he built for Fulanis, Mbororojis, Orphans and the girl-child, as well as a two storey block of classes at the Government Girl's College Maiduguri.
Also commissioned by Mrs Buhari is an orphanage and school built and furnished by wife of the Governor, Hajia Nana Shettima.
Before leaving Maiduguri, Mrs. Buhari inspected progress of work at her own orphanage and school project for IDP children, which is slated for completion early next year.
