The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari on Thursday reiterated the commitment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Government that it will conduct a free and fair election as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari at various levelsl
According to Katsina Media and Publicity, Masari made this known in Charanchi Local Government Area while attending the empowerment program organised by the Honourable Member representing Charanchi, Batagarawa and Rimi LGAs at the House of Representative.
Masari said the Buhari Led administration under the APC is setting Nigeria on a path to sustainable development, adding that the Social Investment Programme is aimed at making the life of the poor easy and good and also to reduce the inequality gap which is a parameter to measuring development.
The Governor cautioned Nigerians on the calumny usage of the opposition tagged as “akori yunwa" which mean “let's end hunger”, he said that it was the PDP that took the country into the dilemma. He emphasized on the commitment of the Buhari Administration concerning the acute dwindling oil prices.
@katgovmedia reports that Masari who explained that the PDP was selling barrel of crude oil as much as a $100+ but the APC started at at $20+ per Barrel. In spite of these paucity of funds, the APC led Government had tripled in projects and human capacity building to that of the PDP.
The Member that distributed the empowerment packages, Hon. Kabir Shu’aibu Charanchi itemised some of his achievements in office apart from Thursday's 4000 Human Empowerment.
“I had secured 147 jobs at various MDAs in Federal Government, constructed Dams, connected 4 villages with the national grid, distributed over 10no electric transformers, constructed bridges and many more projects across my 3 LGAs, Hon. Charanchi concluded.
