The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari has challenged political office holders from Katsina State appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to contribute meaningfully towards the success of the re-election bid of the APC candidate in the 2019 general elections.
According to Katsina Media and Publicity reports, Masari made the call while speaking during the opening of an APC Campaign office and distribution of empowerment packages donated by the Managing Director of Federal Mortgage Bank, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa at kambarawa Quarters in Katsina State.
Masari explained that out of the 10 people given political appointments by the President, only the DG SMEDAN and MD FMBN provided empowerment packages towards the success of the re-election bid of President Muhammad Buhari in 2019.
He reiterated that some of the Federal appointees only show their faces once in 3 months in Katsina without meeting the electorates.
Masari said that time had come for such appointees to reciprocate the gesture by Mr President, adding that only when President Muhammad Buhari secured a second mandate would they be given a second chance in office.
The Governor extolled the sterling qualities of Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, whom he described as honest, hardworking and has perseverance in the political spheres.
He charged politicians in Katsina State especially people in Kankiya to rally round him in his future political endeavours.
@katgivmedia reports that the APC State Chairman, Alh. Shitu S. Shitu explained that only Architect Dangiwa followed due process in the provision of empowerment packages to leadership and membership of the party as he carried the APC leadership along in providing the packages.
He commended Architect Dangiwa for the gesture to the APC members and asked others to emulate him.
In a remark, the Donor and Managing Director of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa who gave a brief history of APC Biyayya Forum expressed the the hope that all and sundry would work towards the success of APC candidates in the 2019 general elections.
Also in a welcome address, the Chairman of APC Biyayya Forum, Alh. Shehu Dabai announced that 10 groups in 361 wards benefitted from the empowerment packages in the state.
Highlight of the ceremony was presentation of 5 Sharon Volkswagen vehicles and other items by Governor Aminu Bello Masari to the beneficiaries.
It will be recalled that on Thursday, Gov. Masari was at Charanchi Local Government to witness the distribution of similar empowerment packages provided to over 4000 people by the member representing the people of Charanchi, Rimi and Batagarawa Federal constituency along side support from Dikko Umar Radda and Badamasi Lawal Charanchi.
