The Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari is expected to lay before the State House of Assembly, the 2019 Appropriation Bill next week; for the 2019 fiscal year to enable the State Assembly take it's legislative responsibilities.
Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the State Commissioner of Information, Culture and Home Affairs, Alhaji Hamza Muhammad Borodo disclosed this at the end of the Eight Regular State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Masari, which was held at Council chamber, Muhammad Buhari House, the seat of Katsina State Government.
Borodo in company of the State Commissioners of Land and that of Resource Development explained that the Council extensively deliberated on the performance of 2018 budget in the state.
@katgovmedia reports that the Information Commissioner revealed that the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget had presented the 2019 budget for scrutiny to members of the State Executive Council. The Council resolved that the budget be presented to the State House of Assembly next week, for the 2019 fiscal year.
It will be recalled that Governor Aminu Bello Masari had in November last year lay before the State Assembly, a budget of over 200Billion Naira, which subsequently, got the legislative approval and became a law which facilitated the victory of the 2018 fiscal year.
