His Excellency Umaru Tanko Almakura has disclosed that Nasarawa State APC was one, one family, one people , with one destiny and ready to take on all contenders to ensure the party’s success in all positions from President to House of Assembly in the 2019 general election.
Gov. Almakura state this at the end of the meeting with Governorship aspirants and candidates in the National Elections in Abuja .
The Governor stated that after all was said and done and the dust settles they have come together as a family to review what has happened and to reconcile. He stated that they were all happy as a result off the commitment and faith in the party, which had enabled them sit down and iron out everything and all the issues that were raised during the primaries.
Gov. Almakura said he was happy to tell Nigerian that Nasarawa State APC is one united, cohesive family and with this momentum, understanding and spirit of togetherness Nasarawa State is battle ready to ensure the success of the APC from the presidential election right down the ladder. He thanked his brothers (the Aspirants), all the delegates and the teeming population of APC supporters for giving him the support, commitment and loving the party.
He reminded all that Nasarawa state was the cathedral of President Muhammadu Buhari and would maintain that status in the 2019 elections as one family.
Speaking at the briefing Senator Abdullahi Adamu spoke on the mantra of the Administration which was “seeing is believing “ and how all those that had stake s in the primary election were now here together to work of the success of the party , agreeing that the party was greater than anyone of them
Stating that immediately INEC lifts the ban on campaign they would be ready to hit the road , for now they would continue consultation and continue working on strategy to ensure the party’s victory in all elections, confident that they have won in the past and would win again as God was with them nothing would stop the victory.
In his brief speech Barr. Danladi Envulanza stated that were all there as members of one family under the leadership of His Excellency Gov. Almakura if they were issues and concerns before the meeting they had been addressed and tackled , as far as he was concerned the APC in Nasarawa State and the National Level was not afraid of the forthcoming election due to their performance and acceptability .he commended the track record of Gov. Almakura and President Muhammadu Buhari , describing APC as the party to beat in the 2019 election.
Speaking at the briefing Hon. Aliyu Ahmed Wadada stated that they were all members of one family who had cause to compete at various levels, and in every completion there was a winner but they were all winner for their acceptance and desire to work together for the good of the party and remaining one family as none of them was a loser and they were all winners and for continuing to work tighter they were all winners.
Hon. Wadada stated that he does not blame , has never blamed , is not blaming and shall not blame anybody for showing interest, he called for the vehicle of democracy to be lubricated , upheld and convened to generation yet to come , just like it was convened to them . Nasarawa state has always been peaceful, united and cohesive, he thanked God for the leadership of the state under the stewardship of Gov. Almakura to have proffered solutions, commending Gov. Almakura for this effort as member of one family we have trashed out all the grey areas and have agreed to work together, asking God to bless and guide them all.
Presenting his speech at the briefing the Nasarawa State APC Candidate Engr. A. A. Sule thanked God for giving them the wisdom and giving the Governor and the party the wisdom to get to where they are today .
He thanked his colleagues for their wonderful spirit of sportsmanship and showing that they were true democrats by showing that Nasarawa state was more important than all of us and we need our party to continue to win so that we could consolidate on the good work that has been done, not only at the state level but at the federal level. He spoke about the three prong promise by President Muhammadu Buhari upon coming to office ( fight corruption , work on the economy and on security ) stating that he has done a marvelous job in very one of them .
He spoke on how Nasarawa state had changed for the better and how the architect of modern Nasarawa alone with his entire team had done a great job in the state. He thanked the people of Nasarawa state for the peaceful coexistence so that we could continue to work together and vote for our party again so that we could continue to consolidate and build on what we have already started.
He thanked the delegates for voting for all of them, giving the belief that all of them belong, he quoted Hon. Wadada by saying they were all winners and the greatest winner was the party itself. He expressed confidence that the APC would win again in Nasarawa state and Nigeria .
The North Central Vice Chairman of the APC Hon. Suleiman Wambai Stated that today the APC and Nasarawa State have cause to smile and celebrate , as it was on record that Nasarawa state had one of the highest number of Governorship Aspirants and after all is said and done Nasarawa State has remained one united indivisible people and silenced all the rumors. Stating that with all the gladiators’ together Nasarawa state was on the march again and could not be stopped.
Lastly the APC Vice Chairman disclosed that APC would remain one and ensure victory for the Presidency to the State Assembly , with the level of reconciliation embarked on and the caliber of people working together he said APC would remain victorious.
