Youth Empowerment: KYCV Graduates 350 Trainees



Katsina Youth Craft Village under the Department of Youth Development, the office of Alh. Ibrahim Khalil Aminu today held its presentation of Certificates and Empowerment Packages to 350 Trainees who underwent training in various skills today at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Katsina.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the graduants who graduated from the departments of POP, Interlock, Tiles laying,  2nd Paint Production,  Hair & Barbing Salon were presented with generators, dryers, wheel barrows, paints among other items according to their departmental requirements to help in developing their acquired skills and use it as a means of livelihood. 

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Mallam Abdullahi Yusuf advised the youth to make good use of the knowledge being passed on to them to better their lives and that of Katsina State at large. 

Correspondent of @katgovmedia report that some of the graduants which includes Abba Sani Ra'is, Yahaya Lawal from the departments of Tiles Laying and Interlock respectively who spoke at the event expressed their gratitude to the administration of Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari which has given them hope and a source of well-being. 

Other dignitaries at the event includes the Commissioner of Information; Hamza Borodo, Commissioner of Education; Dr Badamasi Charanchi, Katsina Local Government Caretaker; Alh. Abubakar Kari amongst other prominent government officials and politicians.
