Youth Empowerment: Khalil Supports Katsina Youth In Skill Acquisition



The Special Adviser to the Katsina State Governor on Youth Empowerment and Development, Hon. Ibrahim Khalil graduated 47 youth comprising of both male and female who had undergone different skills training today at Saldefi international school, Katsina.

Katsina Media and Publicity reports that the graduate trainees were equally empowered with requisite equipment such as sewing machines, Laptop computers, make-up kits among other equipments to help them sustain and put into practice their acquired skills.

The skills cut across Sewing, Catering, Cosmetology, Computer Application and Packages.

Earlier, the Chairman Interim Management Committee of Katsina Local Government Area, Alh Abubakar kari while giving his keynote address, advised the beneficiaries to thank Allah (swt) for having the opportunity to be trained.  He also urged them to hold on to the skills and continue to put in practice what they have learnt as it boost the macro economy of the state.

@katgovmedia reports  that Khalil while addressing the beneficiaries thanked Allah (swt) for the privilege giving to him to empower them. He also pleaded with the trainees to utilise what was given to them and implement it as a means of sustaining their livelihood. 

Highlights of the events includes certificates, kits, laptops, sewing machines presentation to the graduates.  

Other dignitaries in attendance are the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Katsina State Governor Malam Ibrahim Muazzam Abdullahi, Hon Commissioner, Ministry for Land and Surveys, Abubakar Sada, S.A. Radio Monitoring, Murtala Ibrahim among many prominent politicians and Businessmen.
